iPhone Launch

Many AT&T stores have no inventory left as AT&T’s IPhone Stock Is Mostly Sold only days after release of the iPhone 3G. Many buyers had to wait in long lines during Friday’s iPhone 3G release.

CrunchGear reports Apple and AT&T manufactured the shortage. AT&T actually do have phones in stock, but because of some agreement with Apple can only take orders for delivery in 5-7 days.

The new iPhone 3G comes with a high price tag forcing buyers to sign for a 2 year

plan with AT&T as I previously posted Apple reveals new faster iPhone 3G with GPS. SeekAlpha reports Only 35% of iPhone Buyers Will Get it For $199 and average entry cost will be $407!
